All of creation makes music unceasingly. That includes me.

I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was given the best of both worlds, from formal classical to contemporary music training. During the growing-up years, music has always been a part of my life, from play-and-sing at lounges and in bands, to singing in choirs for various festivities. My father would listen to Brahms, my mother would be serenaded by Alan Tam and my brother would blast out Dr Dre. It was during my teens that I discovered my love for composing.

I began my journey as a composer at an advertising music production house while also arranging pop songs. A few years later, I was blessed to be given the opportunity to write, arrange and co-produce songs for the country's diverse pool of talented singers. I’m extremely grateful to have a chance to work on various genres of music via numerous commissioned projects in film, TV, advertising, and collaborations with recording artists over the years.

Savouring the beauty of life on the slower lane now, I've ventured into writing for my own solo albums, channelling personal experiences and reflections into melodies, harmonies, and textures, while exploring creations that inspire imaginative minds and soothe weary souls. 

Part of the challenge and fun in being a composer is in the ability to express the inexpressible and to create various forms of emotions to stir the human heart in enigmatic ways. I stayed fascinated. And will continue to be.
